Explain directives ng-if, ng-switch and ng-repeat?
NG-IF :- It is used to recreate or remove HTML
elements in DOM tree and it depends upon expression . If it is show true by
expression then it add html elements to dom otherwise it remove html element
from dom.
Example
of ng-if is as shown below.
<div
ng-controller="MyController">
<div
ng-if="data.isVisible">ng-if Visible</div>
</div>
<script>
var
app = angular.module("app", []);
app.controller("MyController",
function ($scope) {
$scope.data
= {};
$scope.data.isVisible
= true;
});
</script>
|
NG-SWITCH
:- It is used to conditionaly swap structure of DOM based on expression of
scope.
Example
of ng-switch is shown below.
<div ng-controller="MyController">
<div ng-switch on="data.case">
<div ng-switch-when="1">Case 1</div>
<div ng-switch-when="2">Case 2</div>
<div ng-switch-default>Case is anything else than 1 and
2</div>
</div>
</div>
<script>
var app = angular.module("app", []);
app.controller("MyController", function ($scope) {
$scope.data = {};
$scope.data.case = true;
});
</script>
|
NG-REPEATE
:- It is used to iterate item from collection,generate html from it and instantiate
a template per item
Example
is shown below.
<div ng-controller="MyController">
<ul>
<li ng-repeat="name in names">
{{ name }}
</li>
